i don't think it's ambient

it has some kind of 'rock' feeling though without the guitars

nice one, but indeed more rock-ish than ambient. like the melancholic tune very much.
imho needs some more structure and maybe a female voice ;-) greetz

I like the core idea of this a lot, but it needs some more variation to keep my attention. Overall, not bad though and, as mentioned earlier, I like the melancholy feel of the track!
