Description

Ever felt like having to choose between two persons?

(Edit: I'm new in making this kind of music... guitar and vocals are a one-take recording... but this is a newer version with less inaccuracies... and some percussion)

all music and arangement by me.
It's a singer-songwriter track so it shouldn't be here in folk. When the dance and rock genre gets subdivided I will find a more suitable place for this track.

who cares ... even if you should have added 27 thumbs up, it wouldn't matter man ... this is sumthin' i could hear any day on stubru, when i'm riding to work m8 ... really pro-made, and excellent production - as usual. (what compressor did u youse for the voice? it sounds a little like that nomad factory blue tubes, but without the 'vintage' dusty sauce all over it ...) really really nice - as usual :))

the only thing I used for the recording was my zoom recorder and added a little reverb on the whole track (ie. guitar and vocals)

in my fruity loops there was a little compression (don't ask me what kind of...) on the whole song

Nice song! The only thing that bothers me are the beats. I would leave it more minimalistic and intimate, without the beats... But that's just my (personal) opinion, so don't mind me :)

@ falcon: I'm glad this song makes you think of whatever it may be... as long as it doesn't pass unnoticed. thx (and it's honest, not anest)

@antares: did you hear the previous version too...? It was with more minimalistic percussion. Everybody has it's own vision. i intentionally added some because it was like an exercice to me. I think the percussion has an extra value in the parts where also synths play, maybe in the "strophes" it isn't necessary. Thx for listening.

Hmh cello doesn't sound like it should. Needs a bit more reverb and push it more towards the back.
I prefer the rhodes/organesque sound.

The break at 2'25" is really good. The touch of the piano gives some contrast that's good too.

I haven't listen to your changes yet since the first version. It's very cool and fresh.
Some points I dislike : the brightness sometimes too hard and the instrument in the background wich doens't sound real enough.
