CruizeOfFiction - Parental Guidance (The Sinemill)

Description

90kb/sec
The remix of a frenchcoretrack made earlier.
Added some smoothe melo's & IDM-like stuff...
So its just a typical soft vs hard track as I like to make from time to time^^
I'm actually realy proud of this one, on of my best tracks yet I think. + It's not your typical hardass darkstep

real happy with the pads, synths, breaks, basses (all made myself from scratch exepct the vocals)
I also paid a lot of attention on details: reverb, panning, filtering,...
Cool to touch 3 genres with one concept (IDM -darkstep - hardcore)

Vocals from: Sin City
Stabs from: Army Of Darkness, Sin City
Vsti's: bass, melo's, pads,...: Operator!

hope you guys like it

Preview version...

NEWS: Forthcoming on a new Oekranian darkstep label called Basement Plague Recordings

(kvint eigelijk hilarisch, t'één mee t'ander.)

Totally wicked contrast!
Cool experiment of mixing these genres wich is totally original, aja

2things;
1when the melody plays with the breacks,I would def. try to make it dissonant, would fit the creepy, dark vibe of the Cruizy-Breackin'.Just in the "quiet" parts make the melodie like in the beginning, its one thing I would try to see.
2its a long track and more layering would be nice, just some more long background sounds and maybe extra synths to go with that little melo.

hoed! (chapeau)

dien mega subtielen pad op den achtergrond rond 03:23 is echt cool; i really like goeie sfeer+harde beats-tracks

jup i like, i like, zoals vrijdag reeds gezegd he ;)

yer IDM-ish thingy in the beginning has indeedly become more of an intro then an apart-different genre- piece of the song by that means not good nor bad, just reducing the experimental side of it and regarded from the IDM-side maybe not powerful enough. maneeja in totaliteit heerst et wa! nice outro too greeeet work

i think the parts on themselves are pretty cool, very cool breaks , good sounds, the idm part is cool too, just the contrast is a little bit too big for me, a pitty cus apart from that i really like it , maybe add elements of both parts into eachother, but offcourse it's your baby ;)

particle [be] - 15 years ago

maybe even the best breaks i've heard from you^^

HyeVolture [be] - 15 years ago

you should leave this darkstep behind you man :D try something completely idm, don't think cruize of fiction. the darkstep is cool off course, but it sticks on your producername as a vtm sticker on a margi car! allready a good start thinking more broadly. very well produced, a pleasure to listen to this!

I know^^
but the kicks are actually made out of 2 different reeces/basses I made... So there actually there. I could just use them as 2 big different basses (so not turning them into kicks by using decay & cutting them together but using them as they orriginally were made: as basses), but I guess I'm just a basskick guy^^
Maybe it could be intersting to use them as basses in there as well

thnx for the comments
