rupske - KST

Description

this is a reworking of a song I made a while ago. It is also an attempt to approach the "melodic electronica sound". It's not the final version yet, so I'm looking for all feedback.
Things that I am not satisfied about yet:
-transition to the melodic synth line at ca. 3:20 is maybe to abrupt
-drum patterns maybe need some cleaning up
-something is off about the glockenspiel/bell-ish sound, it sounds too flat at some moments and to sharp at other moments.

yup, some cool sound choices here
i'm less fan of the car noises in the beginning and that sort of bassdrum at 2.29, but the song sure has a lot of potential. plezante melodiekes and nice composition overall.

this is music I love

(I notice you are a Kettel fan (Secede as well?) and to hear one is influenced by him is just wonderfull and hard to find.
I will relisten soon and give my expanded comment if you like)

ow and I really apreciate that you dont use the term IDM in your description, too many people would call this IDM unfortunately.Melodic Electronica, perfect.

glad you shared this track man.

thanks for the kind and useful comments everyone.

Skip: yes, I am also a fan of secede. I love tryshalsa or however that album is called & vega libre. Expanded comments are certainly welcomed

And yeah, of course I fully agree on the IDM vs. electronica categorisation, I think IDM if it should be used at all should only be used for very experimental electronic music (e.g. recent autechre)
