Actually in this case I think it's rather good that the voice and samples are so upfront, you're trying to get a message across and it's gotta be loud enough if people want to understand it.
As for the music: I really like the clarinet, the rattling play of it instantly took me back to when I was a kid, and they played this series on the telly "secrets of the sahara", don't know if you're familiar with it. I was just a little kid back then, but I've always remembered that series as very great. The clarinet really sounded so "sahara", you know, like a snake charmer.
After 2:00 you use some more electro elements, I wonder why not replace the piano throughout the song by some other electro synths? I think you'd have a great electro track then.
Final point: when your voice goes solo, at the beginning and the end, there's this crunching in the background, from your mic. Adding some reverb to your vocal patch might help (put the voice in an NN19, and attach some reverb and/or vocoder to it, then EQ the treble to 15-20 and lower the bass -10/-15 on the mixer channel). Some microphones also have this crunching just after clicking "record", if you wait a few seconds before starting to sing sometimes this also helps.
A song with a message, I always like it when people try to go just that extra mile and put some deeper meaning in the music.

Nice Message I'm totally in line!!
PS: Don't lose the piano sound and the voice (just a humble suggestion :D)
